Forthcoming in the main gallery is our annual exhibition of works by artists associated with the group of St. Ives Post-War Moderns. This year, the exhibition includes works by Robert Adams, Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, Sven Berlin, Sandra Blow, Michael Canney, Francis Davison, Stanley Dorfman, Clifford Fishwick. Terry Frost, William Gear, Fred Hall, Patrick Hayman, Isobel Heath, Barbara Hepworth, Patrick Heron, Roger Hilton, Bryan Ingham, Margo Maeckelberghe, Margaret Mellis, John Milne, Denis Mitchell, Ben Nicholson, Kate Nicholson, Bryan Pearce, Adrian Ryan, Colin Sealy, Rowland Suddaby, Troika Pottery, John Wells and Fred Yates. Running concurrently with our St Ives Exhibition will be an exhibition of new paintings by one of the gallery’s best contemporary painters, Sarah Poland. This group of small, beautiful, exuberant and lushly painted oils on canvas has been produced especially for this seasonal exhibition, and will be presented in Gallery Two as the perfect complement to the St Ives Exhibition in the main gallery.
