Phil Whiting’s talk about ‘Landscape and Memory’

Listen to Phil talking about his practice. Focussing on why he paints the hinterland of Cornwall, this talk also gives you an overview of how he goes about making his work.

Available work can be viewed on our website.

‘Places of Mourning in the Western World’ was an art exhibition by Phil Whiting held at Truro Cathedral. Highlights of the exhibition were his sketchbook on display and the Cathedral Choir singing Cantos Segrados by James Macmillan to open the show. This exhibition coincided with ‘Landscape and Memory’ held at the Belgrave St Ives. (25 Feb – 19 March). The talk here, like the sketchbook at the Cathedral, gives you an insight into his work.
